Includes: Soft drinks & bottled still water. Our Eco cruise is sets of daily on-board Ocean Quest from Hermanus new Harbour. The cruise is a relaxing but educational tour of our coastline either under motor or sail if the winds allow. Throughout the trip our crew give educational talks about Hermanus and the historical sites we sail past. We also try and find as much marine wildlife as possible; this varies on the time of year but year around we can see our local cape fur seals and also the jackass penguin better known as the African penguin. We occasionally see dolphins, bridal whales and from June to October Southern right whale. (please note our Eco tour is NOT a whale watching tour).
Ocean Quest is a fully licence commercial sailing vessel with a certified and well experienced commercially endorsed crew. We comply with South African Maritime Safety Authorities rules and regulations and ensure the safety of all guests and crew onboard at all times.
Departure times: 8am, 10am,12pm, 2pm and (4pm summer months)
Arrival time: 20min before each departure time
Maximum guests: 12pax
