Lagoonandsea is a fully equipped self-catering beach house, which sleeps a maximum of 8 people, and is situated about 200m from the breakers on a long pure white, sandy beach with exquisite views across the bay and surrounding mountains. Lagoonandsea is in the private Middelvlei Estate, at the mouth of the Bot River Lagoon and within the well-known Hermanus district of the Cape Whale Coast.

The Middelvlei Estate is within an exquisite nature conservancy surrounding the Bot River Lagoon and the renowned Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. The secure estate offers a large swimming pool, toddlers%u2019 pool, two tennis courts, a recreation hall with DSTV, pool table, table tennis, games, bar, tuck shop, and bicycle roads inside the estate. The beach house is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac which is safe for children. The house has all the modern conveniences you can expect from a holiday home and the location is ideal for a tranquil breakaway to recharge.

Pelicans, flamingos, spoonbills, raptors and a variety of other birds are often seen all around the lagoon. Approximately 24 wild horses live freely in the dunes and have done so for possibly the last century. It is possible to walk along the unspoiled sandy beach between the closed mouth of the Bot River lagoon to Kleinmond. The entire lagoon and estuary experience are unique for nature lovers. The house is located about 100 meters from the lagoon waters%u2019 edge and wooden footbridge which enables you to walk directly onto the beach. Canoeing, fishing, water skiing, sailing, wind surfing, kite boarding and swimming are popular in demarcated areas of the lagoon. Recreational hiking and cycling opportunities abound under the many Milkwood and other trees on avenues in and around the estate which hugs the lagoon edge for approximately a kilometer. There are a variety of popular scenic cycling routes in the area, as well as hiking routes, and beautiful road trip opportunities.

LagoonAndSea offers family holiday accommodation of an excellent standard within beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
