Farm Stays

Accommodation located on a farm in the region. These may be in the form of cottages, bungalows, B&B rooms

Bed and Breakfasts

Bed and Breakfast accommodation is provided in a family (private) home and the owner/manager lives in the house or on the property. Bathroom facilities may or may not be en-suite and/or private.

Self-Catering

A house, cottage, chalet, bungalow, flat, studio, apartment, villa, houseboat, tent or any accommodation where facilities and equipment are provided for guests to cater for themselves.

Apartments

Apartment accommodation can be a penthouse, flat or studio flat usually forming part of a block of flats. Accommodation provided may also be the upper floor of double storey house with a private entrance.

Backpackers

A Backpacker and/or Hostelling establishment is an accommodation facility that provides communal facilities, including dormitories yet may offer a range of alternative sleeping arrangements.

Camping and Caravan Parks

A Caravan and Camping Park provides ablution and toilet facilities and space for guests to provide for their own accommodation, such as a tent, motor home and/or caravan.

Letting Agents

Letting Agents offering holiday house accommodation for larger families for stays of usually not shorter than two weeks at a time although there are exceptions to this rule where weekend bookings will be welcomed.

Guest Houses

Guest Houses are usually converted houses or purpose built facilities that have public areas which are for the exclusive use of guests. The owner/manager either lives off-site, or in a separate area within the property.
