From June to November, get up-close encounters with:

Step aboard for an exhilarating 1.5 – 2 hour voyage where marine wildlife thrives against the backdrop of a stunning coastline.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Professional Team:
You’ll be guided by a SAMSA-qualified skipper, a SATOUR-qualified guide, and two knowledgeable crew members from the local community who are expect in the region’s marine wildlife.
- Welcoming Start:
Your journey begins at our orange crew house located on the right-hand side as you enter the new harbour in Hermanus.
You’ll be greeted by our friendly ladies who will assist with the check-in, payments, and indemnity forms.
- Amenities:
Enjoy a cup of coffee on your arrival.
Two clean and comfortable bathrooms are available inside the crew house.
- Pre -Tour Briefing:
Learn about the trip, the marine life you might encounter, recent sighting, weather conditions, and safety guidelines.
Children under 12 will be fitted with life jackets, while life jackets are for all passengers are available on board.
- The Adventure Begins:
A short 5-minute walk will take you to the boat, led by your guide. Once seated, a final safety briefing will prepare you for the voyage ahead.
THE WHALE WATCHING EXPERIENCE
Each trip is unique, offering the chances to:
- Encounter Southern Right Whales in shallow coastal waters, often near the famous stretch of beach, called Die Plaat.
- Spot Humpback and Bryde’s Whales, playful pods of dolphins, endangered African Penguins, Cape Fur Seals and vibrant sea birds along the way.
- Take in the awe-inspiring beauty of Walker-Bay’s pristine waters and coastline.
