We constantly strive to offer a high standard of hospitality & personal service. This is reflected in our 3-Star accreditation from the Tourism Grading Council, being AA Highly Recommended, 2012 & 2013 Certificate of Excellence award from Trip Advisor and a fantastic write up in The Lonely Planet guide book.
Our owner run guest house can accommodate guests in 3 standard rooms, 2 deluxe rooms, a studio room with Mountain View, and sea facing apartments (3kms from our guest house).
The hand-painted interiors at the guest house provide an artistic and unique, personal touch. All rooms offer, DSTV, free WI-FI, tea/coffee making facilities, safety deposit box, over-head fans, wall heaters, hairdryers and an en-suite shower room. Deluxe rooms are more spacious with fridge and a private outside patio with braai (BBQ).
Our upstairs studio room is accessed from a private entrance, and includes kitchenette with microwave/grill, fridge, kettle & toaster, bathroom with shower & bath, & air con for those hot summer nights. The private deck is spacious with 2 sun-loungers, gas braai and undercover seating area.
Breakfast includes freshly prepared fruit, fresh squeezed juice (when in season), and a choice of either egg & bacon or homemade pancakes with preserves (all made by Annamarie & Dave!)
Enjoy a braai at the pool area which is floodlit at night, or relax in the lounge room where guests can make use of full DSTV, piano, fridge, & microwave.
Off-street parking is provided in the private courtyard. Our establishment is non smoking, although there is an outside, under-cover seating area for smokers at the Guest House.

Standard rooms offer Satellite TV, free WI-FI, en-suite shower room, tea/coffee making facilities, safety deposit box, over-head fans, wall heater, and hairdryer. All rooms are uniquely decorated with hand painted wallpaper. Breakfast includes freshly prepared fruit, cereal, toast, yogurt, tea, coffee, fresh squeezed juice (when in season), and a choice of either egg & bacon or freshly prepared pancakes with homemade preserves (all made by Annamarie & Dave!)
Room 2
Deluxe rooms can sleep up to 3 adults. Each deluxe room has king size bed and sleeper couch, fridge, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, private patio with weber braai/BBQ, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, safety deposit box, over-head fans, wall heaters, en-suite shower room.

Our upstairs studio room is perfect for couples looking for privacy and superior style.
Here, with its own private entrance, comfort combines with modern finishes to create a getaway of mountain views and secluded outdoor living.
The double bedroom is en-suite to a sleek bathroom complete with shower and bath.
The open-plan design includes opportunities for limited self-catering. It has a microwave/grill, fridge, toaster and kettle. For a fuller meal, enjoy the outdoor living using a gas weber on the sundeck. The sundeck is north-facing for those wanting to soak up the sun, while a covered area offers gentle shade for those who don\’t. The deck is complete with sun loungers.
On top of the Potting Shed\’s usual features and catering, The Studio Apartment also offers:
