The Mayflower Accommodation

Welcome to our new lodging in Hermanus at The Mayflower! Retired Master Mariner Graham Fenn and his wife, artist Jenny Bowes Meyer (owner of Eastbury Cottage), have recently opened their two upper deck cabins at their home, named after the Mayflower ship, at 18 Flower Street, in the heart of Hermanus.

Historically, the home of The Maple Leaf Bakery many years ago and run by the Mason Family, The Mayflower now stands recently renovated and proud in this quaint street, lined with fisherman cottages. Older locals will relate their stories of how they would wait in line at the bakery to buy their fresh bread each day while discussing their catch of the day!

The Port Side and Starboard Cabins at The Mayflower offer understated luxury, self catering lodging in Hermanus close to all amenities. Walk to the seafront just two blocks away and enjoy a stroll along the cliff paths with their spectacular views of Walker Bay. Restaurants and Ficks Tidal Pool are almost a stone throw from The Mayflower. We have a plunge pool for those hot summer days!

We regret we cannot accommodate babies or children under 5 years unless BOTH CABINS are rented by family parties travelling together. Adult children can be accommodated separately from Mum and Dad in one of the Cabins.
