Alicia began exploring the magical world of fine art in 2000. Through the exploration of objects in space, using colour, light, dark, reflections, form, line, and texture, she is able to use these elements to express herself through art. Influenced by early impressionists, Alicia predominantly uses nature as her inspiration, but enjoys experimenting and exploring all subject genres. Believing in the concept that art and one's senses are inseparable, she is constantly challenged to explore and evoke emotion from and through her paintings and strives to express the spirituality of nature and of herself through her works.

Tertius also draws from the ocean depicting sharks and shipwrecks as well as whales from his home town, Hermanus. His love of art has been lifelong, but he came to professional art only later in life when it became clear that what he was producing was not only greatly valued but also in high demand.
